ABOUT

In 2023, I founded the Louisville Metro Watchdog Alliance because I believe government works best when it is open, honest, and accountable to the people it serves. I have spent years standing up for transparency, exposing the misuse of public power, and demanding responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars—not for recognition, but because our democracy depends on it. Too often, decisions are made behind closed doors and residents are shut out and kept in the dark. I believe citizens deserve a government that listens, tells the truth, and plays by the rules.

My work is rooted in a simple conviction: ethical leadership is not optional—it is the foundation of public trust. Through LMWA, I have worked to grow civic engagement, empower everyday people, and hold officials to the highest standards of integrity. My advocacy reflects a simple but powerful belief: citizens have both the right and the responsibility to demand ethical leadership and fair governance.

Service has always guided my life. I served for seven years with LMPD’s Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS) program and was honored with a President’s Volunteer Service Award. I am a lifelong resident of Louisville, proud graduate of Valley High School, and have a degree in Business Administration. I carry the values of hard work, fairness, and accountability into everything I do. This campaign is about restoring trust, opening City Hall, and building a government that truly works for all the people.

One city—for ALL the people.

STANDING STRONG FOR LOUISVILLE

They came after me for telling the truth.
They tried to intimidate me with a malicious weaponized lawsuit—paid for with your tax dollars.

But I didn’t back down. And I’m not backing down now.

I’m running for Mayor to restore transparency and accountability to our local government. I’m running to end corruption, cronyism, backroom deals, and unethical politics. I’m running because City Hall should work for the people—not insiders, not special interests, and not the same tired political machine.

What they tried to silence is now standing right here—ready to lead.
Ready to open the doors of City Hall.
Ready to fight for a government of, by, and for the people.

Use your vote to send a clear message: Together, we’re not just calling for change—we’re demanding it.

“Public integrity is the cornerstone of good governance - it must be restored.Tina Burnell
